Pi Chapter History
Our legacy began in February of 2004. It started with a meeting of eleven students who were eager to make a positive impact on the campus of California State University Northridge. These eleven eager students were also intent on affecting the communities in which they lived. In the early stages of organization it was determined that Nu Alpha Kappa was the family which they wanted to be a part of to accomplish their goals.
As time passed, the realization of the amount of time and effort it would take to establish a family with Nu Alpha Kappa settled in, and in August 2004 seven dedicated members of the Nu Alpha Kappa interest group decided to go forward and present themselves and CSUN at National Leadership Development Conference (NLDC).
In the months that followed, two more incredible men decided to commit themselves to the Prospective Pi Chapter. This marks the day that the Prospective Pi Chapters foundation was formed with nine members poised to join the family and make positive steps toward the future. One member was called away to a prior commitment to serve his country in the Armed Forces, leaving the Prospective Pi Chapter physically with eight strong men, but spiritually , nine strong.
The Pi Chapter was officially established on April 2nd, 2005. 17th Chapter of Nu Alpha Kappa Fraternity.
